Thank you to everyone who supported the 2009 Neighborhood Ford Store "Warriors in Pink" Quilt program. Every square of the hand-stitched quilts represents a story. Sewn together they create a symbol of courage as a unified effort to beat breast cancer.

The Neighborhood Ford Store presented five quilts to local area hospitals to provide hope to women currently battling the disease and to all who may face the challenge in the future. Permanent Neighborhood Ford Store "Warriors in Pink" Quilts now hang in:
- Magee-Womens Breast Cancer Program of UPMC Cancer Centers
- Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center at Windber Medical Center
- Breast Center at Wheeling Hospital
- The Betty Puskar Breast Care Center at West Virginia University
- Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg
Congratulations to our online "Warriors in Pink" Quilt winners:

Kara Nickholds of Langeloth, Pa., whose mother is a breast cancer survivor and who is living proof that "nothing is impossible, and that it is important to keep a positive attitude and a sense of humor through everything.
Christine Davis of McKees Rocks, Pa., just celebrated her two-year anniversary as a breast cancer survivor.
Lynn Schwartzmiller of Pittsburgh plans on giving her quilt to her sister for her birthday, a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed at 32. Lynn's square read, "To my sister... Your true beauty is from within! Stay Strong!"
